Description
EV+ Type 2–Type 2 (16 A, three-phase) is an optimal choice for electric vehicle owners whose vehicles support up to 11 kW charging power (16 A current, 3 phases). Because the cable is thinner and lighter than 32 A equivalents, it is more convenient for everyday use, easier to coil, and simpler to transport in the vehicle's boot.
The cable sheath is made of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), which features high resistance to abrasion, UV radiation, oils, and mechanical impacts. Even in freezing conditions, the cable remains flexible and easy to handle. The ergonomic handles comply with IEC 62196-2 standards, and the internal contacts are silver-plated, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity and preventing the connectors from overheating during extended charging sessions.
Thanks to the IP55 protection rating, this cable can be safely used outdoors in any weather – in rain, snow, or dusty conditions. The cable is fully compatible with all electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids sold in Europe that feature a standard Type 2 inlet (e.g., Tesla, VW ID. series, Audi e-tron, BMW i series, Hyundai Kona/Ioniq, KIA EV6, etc.).
